This research aimed to use ultrasound at produce of strawberry under NFT hydroponics system in Giza governorate at one successful season (2017) through about 180days. The fresh fruit of strawberry were collected for each month separately on three months harvest. Ultrasound device designed and assembled locally to generate different frequencies, with constant power ≈ 40 W. The ultrasound wave with different frequencies of 20, 30 and 40 kHz, and exposure periods of 0, 60, 300 and 600 sec, and vertical distances of 0 – 30 - 60cm in; also performed an extensive statistical evaluation of the obtained data. Abstract Performance tests in múltiple locations are essential to study the genotype x-environment interaction, as well as to identify superior genotypes and testing locations. The objective of this study was to evaluate the adaptability and stability of rice hybrids and inbred varieties for grain yield. Six experiments were conducted in rice-producing areas of Venezuela using a randomized complete block design during the dry season of 2015 2016. ABSTRACT Seagrass meadows have stood out for being very effective fixing atmospheric carbon, among others, due to their ability to produce plant biomass. Therefore, the values of shoot density (m2), biomass (cores) and carbon present in 12 locations with Thalassia testudinum at the Colombian Caribbean (La Guajira and San Andrés Island) were quantified. The biological samples were processed in laboratory until obtaining the values of aerial, underground and total dry weight, and the estimation of the carbon was stablishing from a ratio of 35 % of the dry biomass. The study was carried out to experiment whether magnetic treatments of the irrigation water promote germination and yield of cowpea. Two magnetic flux densities of 1127.4G and 1071.5G (T1 and T2) were applied to treat irrigation water and a control treatment (Tc) which was non-magnetically treated water. The magnetic fields were generated through stationary magnets produced by neodymium and round-bar magnets within the treatment chambers. Tranesterification reaction was carried out on raw Shea Butter Oil (SBO) and Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) to separate the ester from glycerol using ethanol in the presence of potassium hydroxide as catalyst. The properties of biodiesel (ethyl ester) obtained from varying proportions of diesel were experimentally determined and compared with that of conventional diesel. The fatty acid profile of the oil samples were determined using standard methods. A cultivar de feijoeiro-comum com grão rajado, BRS FS311, tem como destaques a alta produtividade, ciclo semiprecoce, arquitetura ereta e excelente qualidade comercial, com grãos maiores e aspecto visual adequado para o padrão rajado, aliados a um bom potencial produtivo, além da resistência à antracnose e moderada resistência à murcha de Fusarium. Nesse sentido, a cultivar BRS FS313 se destaca sobre às existentes no mercado devido à alta produtividade, excelente tamanho de grão, uniformidade e boas qualidades culinárias. A nova cultivar poderá contribuir para favorecer o aumento da sustentabilidade na produção agrícola, de acordo com os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável da ONU, Fome Zero e Agricultura Sustentável (ODS 2) e Consumo e Produção Responsáveis (ODS 12). |

A medium scale mechanical blackberry pulp extractor was designed, fabricated as well as evaluated various Performance indicator such as throughput of the pulp extractor, juice yield, extraction efficiency and extraction loss. The machine was designed based on the principle of compression and shear due to the action of screen cylinder and wing shaft.
